  • Panel questions Q1. How do we think about designing educational technologies? What kinds of goals might we aim for? What kinds of hypotheses can we make about how a new technology might meet a goal? Q2. How do we find out if our designs will work well? How do we test out a design with users and learn from the experience? Q3. What are the unique capabilities of generative AI that we find exciting as teachers? How might we leverage these capabilities for teaching and learning? Q4. As a context for design, schools have unique opportunities and constraints. What lessons have we learned about designing technologies which result in real impacts on student learning?
