Checklist: Create MWC subdomain

To create {sub}.makingwithcode.org:

• Create a s3 bucket: {sub}.makingwithcode.org.
  • Copy settings from lockport.makingwithcode.org.
  • Under properties, enable static website hosting.
  • Under permissions, copy JSON policy from Lockport, update ARN.
  • Copy website endpoint domain.
• Create a CloudFront distribution.
  • Distribution name is {sub}.makingwithcode.org
  • Origin type: Other
  • Origin: website endpoint domain, something like {sub}.makingwithcode.org.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com.
  • Turn off all extras.
  • Copy Cloudfront URL. (eg d1jvel9cnqbcie.cloudfront.net)
  • After creation, add a domain name: {sub}.makingwithcode.org.
    • Create certificate for domain.
• Add DNS records:
  • CNAME {sub}.makingwithcode.org -> Cloudfront URL.
  • CNAME certification validation from AWS.
• Finish adding the domain name to the CloudFront Distribution.
• Create a new branch on the MWC repo.
  • Update and commit settings S3_URI and CLOUDFRONT_ID in tasks/init.py
