Setup instructions
Initial setup (Windows)
- When asked to connect to wifi, Connect to:
- Network:
LPS_BYOD
- Password:

- When asked to log into a microsoft account:
- Email:
temp.microsoft.com@accounts.chrisproctor.net
- Password:
Lockport!
- Turn off all Microsoft settings
- Skip all configuration
- Decline all offers
Ubuntu install tutorial
Actual steps
- Insert the UBS stick.
- Restart or turn on the computer.
- Press F12. You should enter the boot menu.
- Choose the second option, “Linpus Lite.”
- Select “Install or try Ubuntu”
- Select “Install Ubuntu”
- Enter the wifi password
- “Updates and other software
- Normal installation
- Check all check boxes. For secure boot password, enter
lockport.
- Erase disk and install Ubuntu
- Who are you?
- Your name:
Lockport Admin
- Computer’s name:
lps-linux-001 (Use a different number for each)
- Username:
lockport-admin
- Password:
lockport1825
- Require password to log in
- Windows account PIN:
1248
- Admin account:
root / lockport
- Installing Ubuntu 22.04.1
