People are craving resources. Curricular models. How can they implement CS into what they’re already doing?
There is starting to be a teacher shortage, especially in hard-to-fill positions. Actively working on recruitment.
- Future teachers program within schools. Math, science, LOTE,
- Residency: pre-covid, UB had the BPS partnership.
- Pay the residents, then you have the right of first refusal.
- BOCES can COSER the paid internship. BOCES helps pay for it.
- Nothing came of this. But now there might be, in areas of high need?
