** IN addition to the card game I wrote about in Zotero Craft of Research, here’s an idea: A book whose main character is under surveillance, and in fact whose surveillance allows us to know what he’s going to do before he can. The book itself should be able to tell how far the reader has gotten, and pings the reader at various times showing the surveillance of the character. This plays an important role in the story itself. It puts the reader on the side of the omniscient narrator.
