Push back, demand more from CS education. Welcome CS education in for what it brings. Look for interdisciplinary possibilities.

In teacher development, privilege has gone to content. –> Do I agree with this? Bring this back to the critical issues that have made it so much more pressing. Make sure it’s not relegated as just a technical skill. -> Can our arguments be aligned with Labaree, etc.’s description of what school is for.

How do we respond to Larry Cuban? Mimi Ito; Pew Study. All the CS courses… Cuban is right on…. but we’re all online too.

Dewey, connection to lived experience of the child. School is not about preparation for life; it is life.
