Ed Researcher Paper One idea on this: CSCL <-> CS Ed. Further amplifying literacies stuff  Historicize all this.  Following up on Grover & Pea / 2012 Sum up what they highlight.      An important introduction to education community, but what was left out? 

    What is moving now into the forefront? 

        Look at New London:  More diverse conceptualization of CT than Grover & Pea outlined 

        CT isn’t just one thing, it’s actually many. We can look not just at the framings,  but going into the literacy argument. 

What does this mean, CS literacy?      Scribner, others.  (Science litearcy, Eisenhart)

What are the next steps to consider? 

Who is benefitting from this move? Stephenson… 

CODE. Codifying. But there’s also PEP… CS gives us patterns for democratic participation too.      What is happening now is that everything is becoming standardized. 

    It does not take into account multiple voices… 

    It should be participatory. 

Map out the areas where we see computational thinking in K-12.
