• Probably even the little porch area of Casa Batlló The rooftop bar at Hotel Casa Fuster (upper Passeig de Gracia); Tibidabo (in the Collserola hills); the Aeri del Port; Montjuic castle; and last but by no means least, the food hall on the 9th floor of El Corte Ingles at Placa Catalunya, with huge wrap around windows, that offers a 270 degree view from Montjuic to Tibidabo, the Eixample, around past Sagrada Familia. ITINERARY WEDNESDAY JUNE 26 Meet Zuz at the airport at 12:15, go to hotel. Relax, go for a walk, go out to dinner. Go out to brunch. Beach!

Evening: Magic Fountain

Eat a lunch in the boqueria market at the top of the Ramblas. Nori recommends eating patatas bravas, a bomba (big fried rice ball), and anything at a Basque tapas place (especially mushrooms a la plancha). And drinking a “tinto de verano“ and a “Clara”.  And the fountain at Montjuic (it is clockwork, not digital, and you may be able to get a look at the works)

We put our wedding guests in the Pension Girona - great location, simple, not too expensive - but that was 17 years ago!
