Computational Artifacts and Discourse Positions I want to start with a framework of figured worlds, which sees meaning as discursive, identity as self-authored and performative, and identity, text, subject position, and interpretive lens as positioned and contextual. 

I will bring in rhetoric to describe the kinds of interactions that take place between readers and texts. 

Then I will describe how computational artifacts occupy new rhetorical roles.
