The academic family and world I dropped into when I started my PhD was one of freedom, intellectual curiosity, and idealism grounded in the transformative possibility of people working with technology. I found a diverse and talented community held together by shared commitments and personal warmth. This world was was enabled and shaped by you in ways I am still only starting to appreciate. I have been transformed by the research and teaching we have done together, and look forward to continuing our work for years to come.
