I heard what Matt Bevin said about striking teachers. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. I’m talking here to the governor, but also to you, the aide or secretary reading this. Shame on you for being part of this administration.

Have you spent time in poor public schools? How dare we treat our young people, and the people who care for them, this way–especially when we have so much money for tax cuts and military deployments overseas. This kind of talk reveals a profound selfishness, an inability to comprehend the suffering of others.

If you are able, I urge you to consider another line of work, one you can leave every day without a guilty conscience.
