Advisor What am I thinking about regarding my advisor situation right now? It feels to me like I’m at a crossroads this week, that as Paulo suggested, I should have one primary advisor going forward, and that it’s up to me to decide. I think Paulo, Brigid, Antero, or Roy would be willing to be my primary advisor if I asked them to do this. This should be decided 

What do I hope to get from an advisor? 

Mentorship. I’m interested in someone who can help me grow as a researcher by engaging with my interests and work, asking the right questions, and directing me to the right resources. 

Grounding. One thing that 

Collaboration. Is it possible to have an equitable collaboration in research? A way to balance the credit that comes from publications?
