Paly Study What I want to do:

Interactive fiction workshop for a week or two of class. Pre, post test. Video record anyone who is willing. 

Paly Study: Epistemic network analysis

Question: If we think of being part of a journalistic public as a game, what mechanics would help people participate?     I know what’s going on.

    I am making a difference.

    I am shaping the story. 

    I am helping tell the story. 

    I am discovering a mystery. 

—> Look up affinity cultures, Gee. It’s a move from community of practice to a space. This works really well for Paly Study. 

The general plan for MC’s 6-8 is that the teacher will submit planning documents, and student-based evidence that it was carried out. In the reflection, the teacher will discuss how effective it was.
