Filing for a default judgment

HI Camille, 

I wanted to let you know that I filed a request for default judgment with the court—because you did not provide an answer to the court within the deadline, I automatically win the case. The next step will be for me to file an Abstract of Judgment with the county, which will be a public record visible to your future employers, landlords, and people you borrow from for a car or a house. Once this is filed, I will hand off your debt to a debt collection company, who will do what they can to collect the unpaid money. 

I am willing to delay (or entirely avoid) filing the paperwork to make this case public if we can agree to a repayment plan this week. If you would like to do this, please send me a proposal with how much you can pay each week. Here is a breakdown of what you owe me:

Hi Camille, it’s Chris Proctor—lawsuit update. You didn’t reply to the court so I filed for a default judgment (the case is decided in my favor).
