Digital Promise July 14 Meeting More theoretical instead of being focused on things they can do in their classrooms Evidence what that looks like with their student. 

What about being more skill-focuesd rather than knowledge-focused?

This is not the vehicle by which teachers gain the knowledge; this is the assessment. 

Opinion: the teacher’s role in shaping the learning environment is thick, not thin. Pressure to talk exclusively in terms of student learning; my challenge will be to do this in a way that preserves the teacher’s role.
