Paulo Meeting June 14 Research Update

  1. I’m going to run another iteration of the Paly student journalism study this summer. Students will lead it, I’m in a supporting role. But I think it’s worth it because they want to release it to the whole school in August, should be a cool opportunity for DBR with lots of data on how it affects the student body’s sense of membership, community and agency. 
  2. I’ve gotten access to the GMS data and data from Michelle Friend I need for the Programming Languages Transfer paper. 
  3. I’d love to spend some time with you looking at the Interactive Fiction poster, and talking about possible use for QP.
  4. Planning to meet with you on Thursday about the Programming Languages Taxonomy paper.

Scheduling

  2. Antero Garcia has set a meeting for Literacies TAs Thursday 1-2pm.  Can we reschedule Programming Languages Paper meeting for Thursday 2-5? 

  3. Thailand: I can’t do a workshop starting on August 28—I will be getting back to Juneau the night of the 27th. I’ll come to the meeting tomorrow knowing what dates could work for me.
