  5. Describe key implications of your study’s findings & articulate next steps

Literature Review Outline

  1. Intro –  clearly state the goal(s) of your review, what RQ(s) are you are going to address?

  2. Establish the importance of your key constructs/population

  3. Review relevant previous findings/what is known re: your RQs a. organize writing using subheadings that clearly map onto your RQs (or aspects of a RQ).

  4. Summarize conceptual/methodological/applied/etc. limitations of the current research/knowledge  a. Make sure that you consider principles and issues we discussed in our class

  5. Articulate 1-3 clear future directions and justify why and how researchers need to address them (show the depth of your thinking)  a. You could propose a new conceptual model

  6. Describe possible implications and/or application of your proposed future research
