Class Notes Week 9 Race is the justification of colonialization. It’s not just about bodies.  Enregisterment: How features of language are imagined as typical of categories. 

A theory of change that is not rooted in changing the practices of racialized subjects, but on the institutions, the listening subjects. (as semiotic figures) (institutions, technologies, nonhuman actors)

Once you start counting these things, you are complicit in a whole array of logics.
