1. Why is there not more attention going to supporting the gender gap on reading?
   1. Males are perceived as the dominant group, they don’t need help.
   2. We no longer care about reading

3. How do linguistic gender cues indicate attitudes toward proper gender expression and success?
   1. Discourse analysis
   2. MOOC -> train a classifier to see what features appear as gendered (ex: does the use of symbolic math connote maleness?)

How do people negotiate the presentation and re-presentation of identity in groups?  What are the norms and disciplines prevalent in spaces? How does tech media disrupt the disciplines of spaces? How do the literacies active in makerspaces enable identity presentation?
