Versioning My Research

1. I need to be able to collaborate with others
2. I need to keep track of changes
3. I need to tag significant milestones (such as conference papers)
4. I need to generate presentations, ideally syncing them with paper versions.
5. If I repurpose research or presentations for various contexts, I’d like to be able to version them. 

Therefore:

1. I’ll keep research projects in Git repos. When I need to interface with non-git people, I’ll just offline it in whatever format they want

Open questions:

1.     What paper format shall I use? ODT? 
2. What presentation format shall I use?
