Where to go on research: Maker, Programming, Multimodal, Bifocal Modeling. 

At the district level

​Shall I make travel plans for the Constructionism conference? Should I plan to have Stanford pay (using my pre-candidacy travel grant) or is there other funding? If you’re able to send me feedback on the Constructionism paper in the next few days I can incorporate it into the final draft (due 1/8). Right now, I’m planning to focus on improving the quality of the diagrams.  I’d like to talk about next steps in my research. I have a bunch of ideas I’d like to run by you; one big question I have is what role (if any) you envision me having in the Google projects. This could be pretty interesting for me if it’s a good fit.

Build a map of my interests

Is there a complexity factor?      Do students recognize a threshold that makes it counterproductive?     Some ratio of syntax to meaning?
